Celebrities have been led to believe that THEY set the trends when in actuality we, simple mortals and everyday folks determine what becomes a trend. You don't think so, look at what these famous men and women wear outside of premieres and appearances and you will see that they wear the same kinds of clothes has you do (though a bit more expensive). These are a few of the styles of everyday people from New York to Toronto to Paris to Japan, notice how style transcends location.

Sneakers, Sneakers, Sneakers...Oh My!!!

Since 1994, when I finally got to pick my OWN shoes I have been obsessed with sneakers, kicks, or whatever else you want to call them. I remember my first pair of ADIDAS it was like magic and they weren't even the shell toe jawns, they were like cross trainers or something...but still very dope. I was nine when I fell in love with sneakers and now at 25 I still love them like it was the first time. Innovation is everywhere even on your feet, here's a few 2010 kicks that are expressive, sleek, ill and take sneaker design to another level...enjoy!!:)

Givenchy - Fall Winter 2010/2011 Full Fashion Show Part 2

One of my favorites...GIVENCHY the name alone gets me excited J'adore the sillouette of this collection...very interesting and I just enjoyed the collection as a whole, very sleek, stealthy almost, with the rhinestones for a bit of subtle opulence...I will post the shows that I enjoyed and that made me want to forget Public Health and become a designer...or put on my REnaissance cape and do both:)

ARchitecture: Dynamic, Enormous, Innovative

The world of architecture is one of constant change, whether it be simplifying a desgin to fit in particular space or creating the world's tallest skycraper. There is always something new being drawn up in the minds of those who create our homes, offices, and sporting arenas. The next time you step outside your house, you should look around and really take IN, how imagination/dreams are brought to reality...we should always appreciate the beauty in the chaos of the world around us
